A gentle garden of play, where little hands stack, sort & grow Miss Oinkston's world, one tiny tool at a time.

The set includes three wooden toy plant pots, a watering can, a sickle, a rake and Oinkston’ s ears and nose, all with magnetic ends for easy stacking and assembly.

The child learns to stack the different pieces to form Oinkston’s garden. When unstacked, the child can place the elements back into Oinkston’ s body, encouraging sorting, organisation and pretend play.

Stacking toys are one of the earliest educational toys that are recommended for children above 3 years. Before they are even ready to learn about colors or objects. Stacking toys can begin to develop your child's motor skills. The development of motor skills is a very important stage of any child's growth process. It is the foundation for being able to write, draw, tie shoes, put on their own clothes and buttons.

They are made from wrightia-tinctoria using the 200year old toy-craft of lac-turnery. The wood is extremely safe and known for its medicinal properties. The colours used are natural dyes and non-toxic.
