intelligence, and creativity!
Crochet, the seemingly effortless counting and repeating of a basic stitch, to create lace-like, intricate products, has captured the imagination of craftspeople through the ages. However, as craftspeople have followed the same system of product development for years, designs have gradually become redundant, and could spell doom for the future of this craft. To remain relevant in a marketplace teeming with a myriad of choices, it is imperative that crochet crafts evolve, incorporating contemporary updates. This is where Mon Ami Foundation and Varnam Craft Collective bring in a new range of handmade designs that push the crafts forward. These designs are a playful symphony of two colourful and distinct crafts, Crochet and Channapatna Lac-turnery.
Setup : Place 12 cookies upside down, pattern-side down.
- Players take turns picking 2 cookies.
- Flip cookies over to check for matches.
- If it is a match: keep the matched cookies, take another turn
- If it is not a match: return the cookie to their original spots (see fig. 2).
- Next player's turn.
Winning Condition :
