Forms on pegs is a montessori recommended activity for kids around 10months and upwards. The game is a rectangular board with 4 pegs that can hold four different forms. Placing the objects on the pags is a challenging task for the infant. As the pegs seem to 'disappear' in the forms, the child realises that the centre hole in the forms disappears too and the shape becomes a whole. The activity also helps the infant understand colour coordination at a later point in its childhood.
