This lightweight doll is an ode to the popular veshti and anga-vastram (shoulder shawl) worn by men from the south. It is handmade by women from Coimbatore thanks to Shivanjali, an NGO that empowers them. They teach them sewing and culinary skills and then provide them with livelihoods.
These dolls showcase the diverse cultural heritage of our country. The outfits are made from the waste material of garments production and are stuffed with recycled polyester fibre. Dolls are handmade with love by marginalised women.

Surface cleaning is recommended. Dip a cotton towel in mild detergent, squeeze dry and wipe the doll’s surface.Let it air dry in shade. Certain outfits can be removed and washed .The dolls should never be dipped in water!
